TL;DR

Disney+ has greenlit a new standalone show for Marvel's Vision, starring Paul Bettany, set to air in 2026. Terry Matalas will be the showrunner, taking over from WandaVision's Jacqueline Schaeffer. This move aligns with Disney's strategy to reduce the number of Marvel shows per year. Matalas's involvement is good news for Marvel fans but disappointing for Star Trek fans hoping for a new series following the success of Picard's final season.
