
Star Trek Grabs Hall of Fame Honor at Saturn Awards, While Strange New Worlds Slips Short
At the Saturn Awards 2026 in Burbank, Star Trek was honored with a Hall of Fame Award (accepted by Alex Kurtzman with Rod Roddenberry present and William Shatner speaking) as Trek stars and creators celebrated the franchise’s legacy. Strange New Worlds, despite four nominations, did not win, losing Best Science Fiction Television Series to Andor; Ethan Peck and Christina Chong were nominees who also didn’t take home trophies, and Paul Wesley failed to win Best Guest Star. Terry Matalas received the Robert Forster Artist’s Award for his genre work. The evening highlighted Trek’s enduring influence with many familiar faces in attendance.)
