SAG-AFTRA and Studios Resume Calm Negotiations

SAG-AFTRA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers have concluded their second day of talks over a new three-year contract, with plans to continue negotiations on Friday. The actors' strike, which has been ongoing for 85 days, is expected to end soon. However, the issue of revenue sharing, particularly for successful streaming shows, remains a challenge. The parties will meet again on October 9, the same day the Writers Guild of America (WGA) votes on ratifying their tentative agreement with the studios.
