"Venice Film Festival: A-List Actors, Controversial Coverage, and Must-Watch Films"
TL;DR
The 2023 Venice Film Festival presents an opportunity for buyers to spot bargains, as many of the hottest titles arrive without major distribution. Some prime targets for dealmakers include Harmony Korine's experimental action film "Aggro Dr1ft" starring Travis Scott, William Friedkin's modern-day update of "The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial," and Saverio Costanzo's coming-of-age drama "Finally Dawn." Other notable films include Richard Linklater's action comedy "Hit Man," Jasmila Zbanić's showrunner debut "I Know Your Soul," and Michel Franco's "Memory" starring Jessica Chastain.
