"Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Raises Questions with Missing Credits and Endless Relevance"
TL;DR
Hideo Kojima's name has been removed from the credits of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol 1 on PS5 and PS4, with new wrappers thanking "all Metal Gear staff and fans" instead. While Konami may argue that Kojima didn't work on this specific compilation, his original creative vision was essential for the games. Kojima and Konami have had a strained relationship since his departure from the publisher, and he has since formed his own studio and released Death Stranding.
