China and Saudi Arabia Join Forces for Ukraine Peace Talks

China will participate in the Saudi-hosted Ukraine peace talks, sending Special Representative Li Hui to join leaders and representatives from over 40 countries. China aims to play a constructive role in seeking a political settlement for the Ukraine crisis. While some countries are skeptical of China's involvement due to its ties with Russia, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy remains open to dialogue with Beijing. Russia, the aggressor in the conflict, was not invited to the talks.
