Houthi Rebels Hijack Israeli-Owned Ship in Red Sea

Houthi rebels, backed by Iran, have hijacked a cargo ship partially owned by an Israeli shipping magnate in the southern Red Sea near Yemen. The ship, named Galaxy Leader, was bound for India and had 22 crew members on board, none of whom are Israelis. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office blamed "Iranian terrorism" for the incident, calling it a significant escalation of Iran's aggression. The Houthi Movement is an armed organization based in Yemen that opposes former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
