Ukraine Reclaims Black Sea Platforms from Russian Occupation

Ukrainian military forces have reportedly regained control over four strategically important oil and gas drilling platforms in the Black Sea near Russian-occupied Crimea. The operation resulted in the seizure of helicopter ammunition and a radar system. The footage of Ukrainian soldiers on the platforms has not been independently verified, but skirmishes between Russian and Ukrainian forces around the platforms were reported by the British Ministry of Defense. The platforms are not only valuable for their hydrocarbon resources but also for their potential use as forward deployment bases and missile system positions.
