Democratic Women demand Edwards resign after ethics ruling
TL;DR
The House Democratic Women's Caucus called for Rep. Chuck Edwards to resign after the House Ethics Committee found he violated rules related to sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. They argue censure is insufficient and plan to pursue tougher penalties, while Edwards and his lawyers dispute the findings; a censure vote is anticipated after the August recess.
