Lineup Revealed: Candidates for the Second GOP Debate
TL;DR
The Republican National Committee has announced that seven candidates will participate in the second GOP presidential debate, including Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, Vivek Ramaswamy, Mike Pence, Chris Christie, and Doug Burgum. Former President Donald Trump, the frontrunner for the 2024 GOP nomination, will not be attending. The debate will take place at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California. Trump's absence has turned the event into a battle for the second-place spot in the GOP primary, as he remains dominant in national and early state polling.
