President Biden's Ireland Visit: Confusion, Reactions, and Security Breach.
TL;DR
US President Joe Biden appeared to confuse the All Blacks rugby team with the Black and Tans, a British reserve troop deployed against Irish rebels in the 1920s, during a speech at a pub in Ireland. Biden was paying tribute to his relative and former Irish rugby player Rob Kearney when he referenced a 2016 match against the New Zealand team. The president also reflected on his family connections to Ireland during his visit to his ancestral home region in County Louth.
