Commanders Edge Steelers in Thrilling Matchup
TL;DR
The Pittsburgh Steelers' attempt at a fake punt backfired when Gunner James Pierre dropped a pass deep in their own territory, leading to a quick touchdown by the Washington Commanders. Despite leading 7-0, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin's decision to attempt the fake on 4th-and-15 from their own 16-yard line was risky and ultimately allowed the Commanders to tie the game and take a halftime lead of 17-14.
