TL;DR

The Arizona Diamondbacks have advanced to the National League Championship Series (NLCS) for the first time since 2007 after completing a stunning three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL Division Series. The D-backs, who have yet to lose in the postseason, will now await the outcome of the Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves series to determine their NLCS opponent. The victory over the Dodgers holds special significance for the D-backs, who have struggled against their rivals in recent years.
