Georgia QB Carson Beck's Injury Clouds Sugar Bowl Plans
TL;DR
Georgia quarterback Carson Beck is seeking a second opinion on a UCL injury in his elbow, casting doubt on his availability for the Sugar Bowl. Beck, who led the SEC with 28 touchdowns this season, was injured during the SEC Championship game. If Beck is unable to play, backup Gunner Stockton is expected to start. Georgia has time to prepare Stockton, as their next game is on New Year's Day. Beck's future, including a potential NFL Draft declaration, remains uncertain.
