Maple Leafs land No. 1 pick as Canucks miss top spot in NHL draft lottery
TL;DR
Toronto Maple Leafs win the No. 1 overall pick in the NHL draft lottery (their first since 2016), with the San Jose Sharks taking No. 2; Vancouver Canucks drop to No. 3 and Chicago Blackhawks to No. 4, while Boston Bruins’ top pick moves to a future year. Leafs could choose Gavin McKenna or Ivar Stenberg to boost a potential title window, while the Sharks add to a young core that already includes Macklin Celebrini, Will Smith and Michael Misa. The broadcast also featured new presentation touches this year.
