Acer Vero 16 Debuts as a Repair-First, Upgrade-Friendly Laptop

Acer’s Vero 16 emphasizes repairability with tool-free access features like removable port covers, a detachable external hinge, and a bottom latch, plus user-replaceable battery and SSD. Built on a durable MIL-STD-810H chassis from low-carbon aluminum, it supports upgrades for at least two generations and can be configured with up to Core Ultra X9 388H, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD, a 16-inch 3K OLED display, and a 71Wh battery, along with Copilot+ AI tools. It will launch in Europe, the Middle East and Africa early next year with price not announced; Acer also refreshed its Swift line with the Swift Air 16 and Swift Blade 14 slated for various regions.
