Apple and Sony Collaborate on Vision Pro Gaming Controllers
TL;DR
Apple is reportedly collaborating with Sony to integrate PlayStation VR controllers with its Vision Pro headset, marking a potential shift towards gaming for Apple. This partnership aims to enhance the VR gaming experience on Vision Pro, which currently supports PlayStation 5 and Xbox controllers but lacks the precision needed for VR. Despite initial plans for an Apple-designed controller, the company abandoned the idea due to potential developer confusion and cost concerns. The move comes as Apple faces challenges with Vision Pro sales and considers a more affordable version to broaden its appeal.
