"Apple Store Crashes as iPhone 15 Event Approaches"
TL;DR
Apple's online store is temporarily down ahead of its annual September event, where the company is expected to announce the iPhone 15 lineup, Apple Watch Series 9, and other products. The iPhone 15 models are rumored to feature a USB-C port, Dynamic Island, and various upgrades, while the event may also reveal the release date for the iOS 17 software update. Apple's online store being taken offline before major events is a marketing tactic.
