Fossil has officially confirmed that it will no longer produce smartwatches based on Google’s Wear OS or any smartwatches at all. The company, which has been a prominent name in Wear OS, has decided to exit the smartwatch business and will focus on traditional watches, jewelry, and leather goods. Fossil will continue to support its existing smartwatches for the next few years and has already launched its Wear OS 3.5 update. This decision comes after Fossil's Wear OS offerings were overshadowed by competitors like Samsung and Google's Pixel Watch.
