The Pixel Watch 2 has been announced with several upgrades, including a new processor, improved sensor array, added safety features, heart rate zone training, and Wear OS 4. The watch features a flush screen with the digital crown, a body made of 100% recycled aluminum, and a longer battery life of 24 hours with the always-on display. It also includes new sensors for skin temperature and continuous electrodermal activity (EDA) to enable proactive stress tracking. The watch can automatically record workout starts and stops, offers voice and haptic feedback for heart rate zone training, and introduces a Safety Check feature that shares real-time location with emergency contacts. The Pixel Watch 2 is available for pre-order and will start shipping on October 12th.
