Honor has launched the Robot Phone in China, a smartphone centered on a retractable 4DoF gimbal and a 200 MP main camera, paired with Arri-developed cinema color science for enhanced imaging. It supports AI subject tracking, nine-photo panorama stitching, and 4K video up to 120p (60p with LogC3), plus 1080p at 240fps. The device features a 6.3-inch OLED with 6,800 nits peak brightness, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and 512GB/1TB storage. Priced at 9,999 yuan (~$1,500), it’s marketed toward filmmakers, with no confirmed global release date yet.
