HONOR & ARRI Unveil Cinema-Grade Robot Phone With Embedded Gimbal
HONOR and ARRI have launched the Robot Phone in China—a flagship smartphone that fuses ARRI’s image science with a fold-out gimbal camera, AI tracking, Spinshot modes, and professional post-workflow compatibility. The device features a 200MP main sensor (1/1.28"), 50MP ultrawide, 200MP tele, 4K 120fps, 10-bit LogC3, and ARRI-calibrated Cine Mode, powered by an H1 image chip on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, with a 6.31" display up to 6,800 nits, a 7060mAh battery, and 120W charging. Pricing starts at 9,999 CNY for 12GB/512GB and 12,999 CNY for 16GB/1TB, and it will not be sold in the US due to market restrictions. ARRI says the collaboration aims to extend cinema-grade workflows into mobile imaging, with more partnerships planned rather than replacing traditional cinema cameras.
