Meta Unveils AI Chatbots with Personalities, Revolutionizing Digital Assistants and Social Media

Meta has unveiled a series of chatbots for its Messenger service that will have "personality" and specialize in various subjects. The chatbots, including Meta AI, will not only answer questions but also provide entertainment. Celebrities like Snoop Dogg and Kendall Jenner will lend their personalities to different chatbots. The chatbots will be initially rolled out in the US, with limitations on what they can answer. In addition, Meta discussed its new virtual reality headset, Quest 3, which is described as the first "mainstream" mixed reality headset and will be available from 10 October. However, Meta's VR division has suffered $21 billion in losses since the start of 2022.
