The upcoming Pixel Watch 2 is set to feature a thermometer and improvements to Fitbit and Personal Safety, according to sources. The smartwatch will include an electrodermal activity (EDA) sensor for stress management, as well as a skin temperature sensor that allows users to check their temperature on demand. Fitbit's exercise UI will also be revamped to align with Google's smartwatch style. In terms of Personal Safety, the Pixel Watch 2 will work with the car crash detection feature on Pixel phones, display core medical information in case of emergencies, and offer full support for Emergency Sharing and Safety Check. Additionally, Google is expected to reintroduce translation features through the Google Assistant's interpreter mode. The Pixel Watch 2 is set to be unveiled on October 4.
