While the storm was forgettable in Denver due to lower snow amounts, areas in the foothills and along the Interstate 25 corridor reported significant snowfall. Despite the surplus in mountainous zones, Denver's snowfall total still trails its long-term average, but additional storms could help close the gap. Colorado Springs also saw above-average snowfall, with Thursday's 10.2 inches marking one of the biggest snowfalls in decades.
