Severe storms and tornadoes have caused widespread damage and power outages from Texas to New York, leaving at least 24 people dead and over a million without power in Texas alone. The Dallas-Fort Worth area was particularly hard hit, with officials warning that power restoration could take days. The extreme weather, which included damaging hail and lightning strikes, has affected numerous communities and disrupted services, including at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
