Houston is under a heat advisory with temperatures in the mid-90s and heat index values up to 110. Storm chances are expected through Friday, with a low severe weather risk. Two tropical systems are being tracked in the Atlantic, but neither pose a threat to the US. Temperatures will climb to the upper 90s and triple digits again by next week.
