Israel Discovers Second Hostage Dead Near Gaza's Al-Shifa Hospital

The bodies of two hostages, Noa Marciano and Yehudit Weiss, were found near Gaza's Al-Shifa Hospital, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Marciano, a 19-year-old Israeli soldier, was taken hostage by Hamas on October 7. The IDF claimed that targeted intelligence allowed them to locate the exact location of Marciano's body. Israel has released photos and videos showing what they describe as Hamas "terror infrastructure" inside the hospital. The IDF has also called for civilians in southern Gaza to evacuate to a "safe zone" near the coast, but 18 U.N. agencies and aid groups rejected the proposal. Additionally, the Tanzanian government confirmed that a 22-year-old agricultural intern, Clemence Felix Mtenga, who was believed to have been taken hostage by Hamas, was found dead.
