Transforming the Tropicarium: A Stunning Before and After at Bogotá Botanical Garden.

The Tropicarium of the Bogotá Botanical Garden, designed by DARP - Architecture and Landscape, was the winning project of a competition promoted by the Colombian Society of Architects. Divided into three phases, the project was constructed with the aim of integrating various services into a single project, taking into account the particularities of each one, as well as its institutional image and its adaptation to the planned urban environment. The Tropicarium is part of the overall garden tour and functions as a space for disseminating and teaching about the environmental values and threats faced by the Bogotá Savanna.
