Clashes between Russian armed forces and pro-Ukrainian fighters in Belgorod have resulted in the deaths of at least two civilians, with both sides blaming each other for the casualties. The Freedom of Russia Legion claimed that the Russian army mistook a car with civilians for a car with their sabotage group, while the governor of Belgorod blamed the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a fatal shelling that killed two women. Over 2,500 people are now in temporary accommodation centers amid the fighting in Belgorod.
