Chaotic frontline footage reveals Russian and Ukrainian forces in deadly conflict.

A video from Ukraine shows a chaotic trench battle in the contested city of Bakhmut, where a Russian soldier from the Wagner mercenary group appeared to shoot one of his own comrades. The video shows the Russians shoving each other into incoming fire. The Wagner group has sent tens of thousands of mercenary fighters to Ukraine, and also recruited heavily from Russian prisons. The group is accused of a litany of war crimes in Ukraine, as well as in other countries it has fought in, like Syria and across Africa.
