The death toll in the Gaza Strip continues to rise, with over 19,453 Palestinians killed and more than 52,286 wounded. The UN's under-secretary-general for humanitarian affairs, Martin Griffiths, has called for a special tribunal to investigate Israeli conduct in Gaza, citing the lack of safety for aid workers and the high death toll. Israeli forces have also targeted Palestinian hospitals, leading to the deaths of patients and the arrest of medical personnel. In addition, Hamas released videos of attacks on Israeli forces and Israeli captives pleading for their release. Israeli officials have denied targeting churches and claim there are no Christians in Gaza. Israeli forces have also arrested over 4,500 Palestinians in the West Bank since October 7.
