Israeli military escalates violence in West Bank.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned that "all options are on the table" after a roadside bomb during an army raid in Jenin, West Bank, left six Palestinians dead and nearly 100 wounded. Eight Israeli soldiers sustained light-to-moderate injuries in the clashes and as a result of the bomb. Several senior coalition lawmakers have called for a wider military offensive in the northern West Bank. The US urged deescalation following the deadly battle as well as two separate violent incidents that occurred later in the day. Tensions between Israel and the Palestinians have been elevated for the past year.
