"Israel's Encirclement of Hamas Founder Sinwar Signals Impending Capture"

Israel has announced that it is closing in on Yahya Sinwar, one of the founders of Hamas and the leader of the group in Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israeli forces have surrounded Sinwar's house and it is only a matter of time until they find him. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that Sinwar is currently hiding underground. Sinwar, known for his ruthless enforcement tactics, was elected as Hamas' leader in Gaza in 2017 and has been involved in negotiations for prisoner-hostage swaps and directing military operations. Since the war began, Israeli forces have already eliminated two members of the Hamas ruling politburo and associates of Sinwar.
