Myanmar military air strikes leave dozens dead and wounded.

Myanmar's military carried out air attacks on the town of Pazigyi, known for its opposition to the coup, killing at least 40 civilians, including children. The air raids occurred during the inauguration of an administrative office. The military has been accused of indiscriminate killings of civilians as it suppresses armed resistance to its takeover. More than one million people have been displaced as the military steps up artillery attacks and air raids. The incident could be one of the deadliest among a string of air strikes since a jet attacked a concert in October killing at least 50 civilians.
