Russian Airstrike Targets Blood Transfusion Center, Claims Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russian forces struck a blood transfusion center in northeast Ukraine, causing casualties. This comes after a Russian missile attack hit an aeronautics manufacturing facility in western Ukraine. Ukrainian drones also targeted a Russian tanker in the Kerch Strait, temporarily halting traffic on the strategic bridge connecting Crimea to Russia. Russia has vowed to punish Ukraine for the attack. Additionally, Russia dispatched a fighter jet to intercept a US drone over the Black Sea, and claimed to have captured a settlement in northeastern Ukraine. Talks in Saudi Arabia to find a peaceful settlement to end the war in Ukraine are expected to be difficult.
