Russian General Killed in Ukraine Missile Strike

A top Russian general, Major General Sergei Goryachev, has been killed in a missile strike in southern Ukraine amid heavy fighting around the Vremivka Ledge region. Ukraine has launched a counter-offensive in recent days aimed at recapturing territory from Russian forces. Meanwhile, an adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Russia's invasion of Ukraine has become a "great opportunity" for European countries to "rearm themselves profitably" by giving away obsolete weapons and getting new models of equipment at the expense of strategic partners.
