Russian Military Suffers Multiple Losses in Border Conflict with Ukraine

Four Russian military aircraft, including two Mi-8 helicopters and an Su-34 fighter jet, were apparently shot down near the border with Ukraine, killing nearly a dozen service members. Russian authorities blamed the crashes on engine fires, but video footage suggested that at least one of the helicopters was hit by a missile.
