Russian shelling causes casualties and counteroffensive in Ukraine.

Two employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were injured in a Russian shelling of the Kherson region on June 8. The injured are in stable condition in the hospital. Over 800 SES personnel, more than 170 units of equipment, the National Police, municipal services of regional state administrations, and other forces are currently involved in the emergency response. The director of the Department for Organizing Civil Defense Measures of the State Emergency Service praised the work of volunteer organizations but also criticized those who come to take selfies and leave.
