Russian Strikes Kill Dozens in Ukraine, Kyiv Prepares for Counterattack

Ukraine is preparing a counter-offensive to retake occupied land from Russia, using hundreds of tanks and armoured vehicles sent by the West. This comes after Russia launched its first large-scale air strikes in nearly two months, killing at least 17 people in cities as people slept overnight. The missile strikes were condemned by Ukraine's president as "Russian terror" and a "war crime". Ukraine said it was "to a high percentage ready" to launch its campaign, with its new modern weapons serving as an "iron fist". The Ukrainian military said it had shot down 21 out of 23 cruise missiles fired by Russia.
