Russia's Wagner withdraws units from Bakhmut as fighting subsides.

Wagner, the private mercenary group, has started withdrawing its forces from Bakhmut and transferring its positions to regular Russian troops, according to its founder Yevgeny Prigozhin. He announced the capture of Bakhmut on Saturday after the longest and bloodiest battle of the war. Prigozhin said his forces would be ready to return to Bakhmut if the regular army was unable to manage the situation.
