Sudan's Ongoing Conflict: Evacuations and Limited Options.

Battles continue to rage in Sudan, with more than 420 people killed and thousands wounded since April 15. Hospitals have been shelled and others ransacked, forcing more than two-thirds of medical facilities in Khartoum and neighbouring states "out of service". Foreign countries are evacuating their nationals, with Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Egypt among those who have already evacuated embassy staff and citizens. South Korea and Japan have also deployed forces to nearby countries in preparation for potential evacuations.
