Foreign nations are evacuating their citizens from Sudan as rival military factions battle in the capital Khartoum, leaving millions of residents trapped inside their homes without adequate electricity, food or water. The fighting has triggered a humanitarian crisis, killed at least 420 people and left behind charred tanks, gutted buildings and shops that have been looted and torched. The evacuation efforts have been undertaken by several countries, including the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, India, Libya, and Russia.
