Sudan's War: A Look at Possible Scenarios.

Artillery fire and air attacks have pounded the outskirts of Khartoum, Sudan's capital, as the conflict between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) enters its sixth week. The fighting has displaced over one million people and led to a collapse in law and order, with looting and dwindling stocks of food and essentials. Talks sponsored by the US and Saudi Arabia have not been fruitful, and both sides have accused each other of violating multiple ceasefire agreements. Qatar has denounced the vandalising of its embassy in Khartoum by "the irregular armed forces".
