Ukraine regains control of Bakhmut in successful counterattack.

Ukrainian forces have retaken part of a village near Bakhmut, according to Russian mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin, who also accused regular Russian troops of mining roads used by his private Wagner militia. The top Moscow-backed official in the Russian-occupied part of Donetsk region, Denis Pushilin, said the situation around Bakhmut was "under control" but "very difficult". Prigozhin has waged a public feud with Russia's defence minister and chief of the general staff, accusing them of failing to provide sufficient ammunition and support for Wagner in the field.
