Ukraine's Daring Night Raid: Rubber Boat Destroys Russian Command Post

A video circulating online shows a Russian BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle, fortified with wooden logs for additional protection, being targeted by a Ukrainian drone near the front lines in southern Ukraine. The location is described as close to the Russian-controlled village of Robotyne. Reports of Russian troops adding wooden planks to their military vehicles emerged after the invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022. Experts note that Western-made tanks and military vehicles used by Ukraine offer heavier armored protection compared to those used by Russia. According to open-source intelligence, Moscow's troops have lost 287 BMP-3 variants since February 2022. The Ukrainian forces continue their counteroffensive operations in the southern front line, including around Robotyne and the nearby town of Mala Tokmachka.
