Wagner Boss Criticizes Russian Army as "Clowns"

The head of Russia's Wagner mercenary group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, criticized the Russian army as "clowns who turn people into meat" and said his soldiers would only continue fighting in Ukraine if they didn't have to depend on them. Prigozhin also confirmed that his fighters would withdraw from the city of Bakhmut on June 5 after handing control of it to regular forces. The Wagner Group has lost many fighters in the 15-month war, with Prigozhin admitting that 20,000 men had been killed in the battles for Bakhmut.
