Israeli Forces Seize Control of Gaza, Targeting Terrorists and Infrastructure

Israeli forces raided Hamas terrorists' luxury homes, parliament, and police headquarters in Gaza City, taking control of the sites and uncovering weapons and tunnel entrances. The IDF found 35 tunnel shafts and weapon stashes, while capturing Hamas' parliament building, government complex, and police headquarters. The advancing Israeli army also seized a Gazan university faculty building, a Hamas training base, command center, interrogation rooms, and detention cells. The UN Secretary-General expressed concern over the airstrikes hitting schools and UN facilities, resulting in civilian casualties, and called for the protection of civilians in the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
