Former Hamas Minister Blames Gaza 'Madmen' for Destruction

A former Hamas communications minister, Yousef al-Mansi, surrendered to Israel and blamed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar for causing the recent Israel-Hamas war, describing him as a "madman" who leads a group of crazies. Al-Mansi claimed that everyday Palestinians do not support Hamas or its leadership and that Sinwar and his group have destroyed Gaza. He also stated that the Oct. 7 terrorist attack orchestrated by Hamas went against the values of Islam. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on more Hamas members to surrender and urged them not to fight for Sinwar.
