Fatal Rocket Attack from Gaza Claims Two Lives in Southern Israel

Two foreign workers were killed and another person was injured when a rocket fired by Palestinian terrorists from the Gaza Strip hit the Eshkol region in southern Israel. In response, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) carried out targeted killings of two senior Hamas members involved in financing and directing terrorism. Hamas threatened to launch a massive barrage of rockets on Ashkelon, and the IDF killed four terrorists on Zikim Beach. The IDF continued to strike Hamas targets in the Strip, including tunnels, command centers, and weapons depots. Hamas claimed to have captured 163 Israelis during a recent terrorist attack.
